Checklist
Before rehearsal
Use it with or without ShowReady. The items marked on site need people and the real system.
Run of show
- Every cue has an activity and, where it plays media, a named file.
- Start times and durations are set, with the unit clear (seconds or minutes).
- Speaker names and titles match the latest agenda.
- Walk-in, walk-out and holding loops are listed as cues.
Media
- Every named file is in the package, with the final version clearly identified.
- No two files could be mistaken for the same cue (FINAL, v2, NEW).
- Video resolution and frame rate match the screen specification.
- Audio is present where the cue needs it, and absent where it must be silent.
Presentations
- Decks use the agreed slide size.
- Fonts are embedded or installed on the show machines.
- Embedded videos are supplied as separate files too.
On site
- Play every file once on the actual playback system; ShowReady does not do this for you.
- Check loudness on the house system.
- Keep an exported run of show printed and offline.
